Vacation with family

I was so excited to go to Idaho for a quick vacation. It was a nice visit with family. We played hard and I needed a few naps.
We went huckleberry picking. Levi and his family introduced me to huckelberries many years ago. I had never heard of them. We collected several and I'm freezing them until I have a minute to make huckleberry muffins. Yum!

We made a stop at the Bear Lake. We played in the sand, swam and rode a wave runner. I was very careful to not get too deep in the water, but as we were getting off the wave runner, I lost my balance and my whole body fell in the lake. Here's hoping I don't get a bacterial infection because of my weakened immune system.

I was so excited to visit sweet Virginia. Levi's Grandma Goose, Virginia and Elva all taught me how to hand quilt. I use to visit Virginia every chance I could get. We talk on the phone, but I was so happy visit her in person. It was the perfect finish for our vacation.

A year ago all of these acticivites were out of question. They were not an option for me.
1. I was not allowed to travel far distances away from Stanford or UofU unless for medical care.
2. I was not sure how I would handle the higher altitude.
3. I was scared to be adventurous for fear of getting hurt.
I'm glad to say none of those are a concern anymore and I feel stronger everyday. I look forward to more adventures and living life.
