I'm clinically approved

It’s very possible that I’m not a very patient person. I decided to call Stanford last Monday to get an update on my case. Boy, am I glad I did.
My case has been clinically approved!! Now it’s been sent to the financial team. It usually takes 7-10 days to get financially approved through the insurance. I guess that makes sense, since it is a $1.2-2 million dollar procedure. Then Stanford will contact me to schedule a visit for the formal evaluation. It’s getting real. Stanford will hopefully call me by December 7th. I was told they are scheduling appointments for late January to early February.
*I am not on the transplant list. I am just clinically approved meaning they will proceed forward with my case and complete my evaluation at Stanford.
It's really hard for me to sit around and wait. Actually, it's just really hard for me to sit around. I am a major busy body, but lack the energy or ability to do anything about it. I am thankful for hobbies I have that can keep me occupied. However, they can wear me out too.
Here are a few pictures of things I've been working on:

Applique

Quilting

Binding

Piecing and more applique.

More quilting

And reading thoughtful notes from friends and neighbors that were delivered with delicious cookies by the sweet young women in my ward.
I am truly thankful for Levi and his support in my hobbies, even though we do not need anymore quilts according to him.
